About C.E.L. & Associates
C.E.L. & Associates, Inc. specializes in mediation and parenting coordinator services related to divorce and separation. The firm was initiated with a vision to assist people particularly in the area of divorce and separation. However, we also mediate neighbor, landlord/tenant, and employer/employee disputes. Our goal is to keep the process amicable, out of court, cost-effective, and equitable while protecting client’s children.
C.E.L. & Associates has offices in Chicago, Libertyville, Rolling Meadows, Naperville, Crystal Lake, Northbrook, Illinois and Kenosha and Paddock Lake, Wisconsin.
Owner Brian James has over twenty years experience with divorce and high conflict families. He started his mediation practice in late 2005. Since then, he has been working tirelessly to resolve issues out of court and creating win-win situations for both parties.
Mediation is an ever growing business, as more and more people are tired of fighting in court, getting no resolution and paying crazy attorney's fees. At C.E.L. & Associates, everything is based on what our client's needs are. Though we prefer to meet clients in person, we also Skype, do conference calls, email, text, etc. to get the job done. It is critical to help our clients keep their divorce or separation civil and out of court.
Our vision for the future is to own a practice that employs mediators, therapists, attorneys, accountants, realtors, mortgage brokers, and financial advisors as all can work together to help clients through a divorce.
