  • The Advantages Of Co-Mediation

Author: Brian James | Jul 02, 2021 | Categories: divorce mediator , marital mediation , mediation training

    C.E.L.-&-Associates---Month-19---#-3---Blog-Banner

Co-mediation is a form of mediation where more than one mediator is present during a meeting. It is thought to be more beneficial to clients as the mediators complement each other in terms of personality, culture, gender, professional background to improve the quality of the mediation process and its outcome. A co-mediation can be used to settle divorce and post-decree cases (i.e., situations that occur after divorce). The purpose of this form of cooperation is to facilitate agreements on all issues regarding children and finances, with as little conflict as possible.

Author: Brian James | May 12, 2021 | Categories: family mediation services , mediation training , Post-Decree Mediation

    C.E.L. & Associates - Month 19 - # 2 - Blog Banner

Post-decree mediation is a form of mediation that takes place between ex-spouses/parents when they are having trouble parenting their children after divorce/splitting up. Post-decree mediation may also be necessary when one ex-spouse is not running decisions by the other or is not seeking an agreement for decisions they need to make as a team.
